Why foil cones?

From my point of view, foil cones are the successful combination of the advantages of hard plastic cones and soft cones made of foam rubber and paper. They seal better than the hard cones and are more robust than the soft cones. Certainly just a personal opinion, but I've been very satisfied with my foil cones for years. In between I use other cones to see if there are any advantages for me personally. So far I haven't found any for myself.
