Of course, the assessment of whether something is perfect always depends a little on the personal situation and personal expectations. I have experimented with many different cones. I wasn't really happy with any variant. Either they could not be produced with repeat accuracy or the ready-to-buy ones were produced with too many manufacturing tolerances. It was only after I had worked intensively on the production of my own foil cones that I got a feeling for the potential of foil cones. I have collected the tips shown here over the years. After several hundred self-made foil cones, I think I have found most of the optimizations. Failures have led to permanent improvement. In the meantime I have been using the foil cones presented here for a long time without further modifications. From my point of view, they are absolutely mature.
