I had already dealt with the influence of the thickness of the foil cones on the flight characteristics and aiming accuracy elsewhere. The optimal thickness of my foil cones is between 0.28 - 0.34 mm. The tolerances are because I don't always cut off exactly 5.5 cm of the film. Whenever the pieces of foil are a little longer, they overlap when being wrapped onto the wrapping aid. The overall result is that the thickness varies. If you always want to have exactly the same length per layer, you need an automatic tape dispenser. This could e.g. B. a Zcut-9 Automatic Tape Dispenser. So far I've saved the investment of around €100 for this.
